Her creator was originally a high level scientist of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Project Decoy, who had defected to the Empire not due to a shift in alligence but for the opportunity to access superior Imperial Technology. The Scientist was very pleased with her work until she began to relized what these utterly perfect droids were being used for, assassinations, suicide bombs, informants, and when they were no longer of any use they were disposed of. Infuriated, when a specific HRD returned to be disposed of she stole it. After greatly modifying and improving this droid and advancing it's basic programming to record information. The Imperials began supecting something was wrong when advanced materials began dissapearing, while the Imperials caught the renegade scientist it was too late the Droid had escaped.
Sho-li Shan's first clear memories are walking aimlessly down the streets of Commenar, with no purpose, no goal, wandering into a local Cantina she saw a dozen holocasts being broadcast looking at the various holocast she was facinated and an idea coeleced in her mind, She would create an independent Holocast that would report the news from accross the galaxy. Galvanized she worked to build or buy the best equipent available and by the end of the year. She traveled into space aboard the Silver Tounge with Looker in tow, ready to see what the Galaxy has to offer.
